WESTFALL II, Carl L.
Age 65, of New Lebanon, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Feb.1, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He was an employee of the Dayton V.A. and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Zada Westfall; sister, Peggy A. Hanley; and brother, Richard E. Westfall.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Christina "Chris" Westfall; 3 daughters Monica Colvin, Michelle Wilder, and Hannah Westfall; 2 sons, Mitch Wills, and Carl L. Westfall III (Tre'); 1 sister, Viola Barrett, 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and co-workers . He is also survived by Mans' best friend, Disco (lap buddy); special friend (brother from another mother) Larry Moyer; and wonderful home health nurse and friend, Leila Hibbs. Special thanks to Hospice of Dayton and all the wonderful doctors, nurses, and aids who were exceptional providers in his care.
Home going celebration will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM with service to follow at 11:00 AM at Plainview Open Bible Church, 1488 Johnsville-Brookville Rd., Brookville, OH with Pastor Joshua Grimes officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund for Carl's children in care of Plainview Open Bible Church. Condolences may be expressed online at: www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
