MORTON, William E. "Bill"

Age 85 of Naples, FL, formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. He was born January 12, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orin & Bessie (Elva) Morton; brothers, Jim and John Morton; son, Scott Morton and daughter, Becky Morton.

Bill was a devoted husband, survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nancy (Trout) Morton ; son, Brian T. Morton of Englewood; grandsons, Derek (Alyson) Morton, Andrew Morton of Scotttsdale, Az., Brandon and Jacob Morton of Englewood; brothers, Bob and Tom Morton; sister, Ella Mae (Morton) O'Connell ; and the many friends and neighbors at the Bay Forest Condominiums in Naples, Florida.

Bill graduated from Jefferson High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from McCalls Corporation after many years of service. Bill loved traveling the country, camping, fishing and just enjoying the great outdoors.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 at Rogers' Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Trotwood, OH 45426.
