WALLACE, Mamie L. (Stone)

Age 87, born, Mar. 30, 1925, passed away Wed, Feb. 27, 2013 at New Lebanon Rehab and Care Center. Mamie was preceded in death by her husband Jim Wallace, her parents Oather and Rean Stone; sisters Leona Stone, Betty Jean Stone, and Josie Blair; and brothers, Branch, Gilbert, Paul, and John Stone. Mamie is survived by one sister Ella B. (Morris) Woodson; and special friend Lucille Bowling.

Mamie retired from General Motors after working for 30 years. She had a great sense of humor all of her life. She loved to draw, garden, eat tomatoes, play bingo, visit with family & friends, shop and travel, especially on the back of a Harley Davidson. Although Mamie had no children of her own, she had plenty of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews that she loved to spoil and treat as her own.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Rogers' Funeral Home, New Lebanon, with Pastor Doug Criswell officiating. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
