FUGETT, Stephen D. "Mope"

Age 61 of New Lebanon, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on Dec. 19, 1952 to his parents Elmer & Gail (Talley) Fugett. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Wayne "Squeak"; his grandparents; and friend, Tim Mullins.

Mope is survived by his wife, Linda (Phillips) Fugett; son, Todd (Tricia) Fugett; mother, Gail; brothers, Jerry, Joe (Jean), Charlie (Shelly); granddaughters, Carly & Riley; and many more family members and special friends, especially at the Wolf Creek Rod & Gun Club, where he was an honorary member.

Mope loved fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He was always willing to lend a hand to his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 from 11-1 with Celebration of Life service to follow at 1:00 PM at Rogers' Funeral Home, New Lebanon. Pastor Wallace Davis officiating. Interment at Bear Creek Cemetery.
