Age 83, of New Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014.

Gene was born March 28, 1930 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late John and Sally Singleton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd Singleton; 4 sisters; and 8 brothers.

Gene is survived by his wife, Wanda; sons, Perry (Michelle) Scott, Mike Singleton, and Johnny Singleton; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

After enlisting in the U.S. Army, Gene served in the Korean Conflict, and then was employed at Westvaco and was a member for over 20 years at the Rod and Gun Club.

There will be no services per Gene's request. He will be laid to rest at the Dayton National Cemetery.
