SCROGHAN, Carolyn Elizabeth (Couch)

Age 58 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 18, 2014. She was born in Hazard, KY on Oct. 19, 1955 to her parents, A.B. & Margie L. (Melton) Couch. Preceded in death by her father, A. B. Couch; husband, Donald "Duke" Scroghan; 1 brother, Fletius Couch; and 1 sister, Barbara Sue Couch.

Carolyn is survived by her mother, Margie Couch; 3 daughters, Jacqueline Sue Slusher, Chastity (Larry) Hennessey, and Jeannie (Bryan) Kennedy; 2 brothers, Jerry Couch of Augusta, MI, and Danny Couch of W. Alexandria; 4 sisters, Jeannie (Chris) Sampson of Brookville, Mary (Jeffrey) Riddle of Miamisburg, Debbie Baker of Moraine, and Rose (Bruce) Lloyd of Dayton; also 4 grandkids, Ryan, Angelina, Christian, and Katlynn; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Carolyn was an avid football fan. She especially rooted for the Bengals, Redskins, and Buckeye's. She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She was an amazing woman and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at Rogers' Funeral Home, New Lebanon. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Thursday, Sept. 25 also at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Criswell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dayton National Cemetery at noon. Condolences may be expressed online at:b www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
