Condolence & Memory Journal

I have always had the greatest admiration and love for Eloise. I remember our family camping trips out to Gunnison, CO. Hiking up the switchbacks and fishing in the little stream behind the camping area. (I looked that place up last summer and was going to go back there but it didn't work out, but it will someday.) Our two families were usually the only campers there. I was so excited to get her for my teacher in the fourth grade at Dixie. She was one of the reasons that I wanted to go into teaching. While in college, I came back and did observations in her classroom. She was always welcoming.
Her kindness and love was always glowing from her...at least in my mind, from the time I was young to when the last I saw her several years ago. I was always thrilled to see Eloise and Gene!
To end, I am happy for the life she has lived. She is home now and is sharing all of her love and wisdom in heaven. But, she was helping make heaven on earth while she was here. Rest well, Eloise, you deserve it!
Love to Gene and the family,
Kathy Zimmer Jackson

Sorry to hear of Elosie passing. I knew Elosie in high school plus we worked together at Good Samaritan Hospital. Her father married my first husband and me. She was a wonderful woman and she will be dearly miss.

Mrs. Miller was such a kind lady and a very good friend to my mom, Esther Davis, during their days teaching second grade together at New Lebanon Elementary. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate her life.

My deepest sympathy to your entire family. A very special lady and great teacher, prayers go out to all of you. People touch our lives and may never know how much they are thought of, but as classmates of Bobby, know that all of you have held a special place in our thoughts and prayers for many years. May God grant you peace,
